My hiking group went to a trail in Baxter County yesterday called David’s Trail. It was the first time any of us had been out there. It roughly traces along the shoreline of Lake Norfork, leading us up and down into hollers full of dogwoods in bloom and ridges with wildflowers.
We even happened upon a box turtle, digging amongst the leaves, looking for breakfast. He politely agreed to a quick snapshot.
There were so many pretty flowers…
And when we got to the turn around point 2.5 miles later, we had a rest and snack by the shores of the lake before hiking back.
I hope your weekend is going well and that you find your own way to make life DIY!
