I don’t typically do anything special for May Day. Right now, here in Arkansas is a nonbalmy 40 degrees. The weatherman is predicting that we will want to turn on the AC by this weekend.
There was one May Day, however, when a friend invited me to join her and some other women to make May Day baskets. She saved tin food cans all year for this. She would poke two holes in the can, opposite each other, and make a handle with a piece of wire. Then she planted flowers in all the cans and tied pretty ribbons on the handles. We went around to older folks we knew around town and from our church and left them the baskets. It was a lot of fun to see the smiles we got, delivering flowers. How will you celebrate May Day today?

Whatever you do today, make life beautiful!
