I have been a hand spinner of yarn for about6 or 7 years now. I have oft admired what many call art yarns, but until this past week, I never attempted making my own. A couple of weeks ago, I just could not resist purchasing a couple of Scrapboxes forms Namaste Farms. The boxes contain a variety of yarn and fiber scraps, sometimes beads, etc, all for creating unique, one of a kind yarns. Here is my first skein after spinning and steam setting.

Here is the yarn, wound into a ball, sitting in my yarn bowl just waiting to become something beautiful.

You will just have to wait for another post to see what it becomes when it grows up!
