Yesterday we did A LOT of gardening. Mom mentioned that the green beans and cukes needed a good hoeing, as she had weeded them already, but little weeds were quickly trying to fill the rows again. She also lamented not having a nice sharp hoe. So I got the trusty Dremel tool out and in minutes had put a nice sharp edge on the tool.

I had those beans and cukes hoed in no time flat! A sharp tool is a joy to use. To sharpen your hoe, go slowly, keep the edge of the stone flat against the bevel of the hoe, and only move in an arc with the stone spinning toward the surface of the steel MOVING AWAY FROM YOU. Otherwise, the Dremel may bounce toward you. Not a good thing.  I hope everyone had a great weekend! Make Life DIY!
